Verizon’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 getting a minor update with bug fixes

Sunday, August 31, 2014
Verizon is pushing out an update to the Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 to fix a few issues and make minor changes, while keeping the Android version at Android 4.4.2. The update brings a bug fix for the default Calendar app, improves stability for the Science and Technology sections of the Magazine UX, adds an option to wipe local content from the lockscreen for all security methods (oddly, the changelog also mentions biometrics, which is naturally a mistake since there is no fingerprint scanner on the Note PRO 12.2), updates for apps such as Kindle and VZ Navigator, and new widgets for the WatchON and Hancom Office apps.
The update carries build number KOT49H.P905VVRUANE4 and is rolling out over the air, and should pop up on devices in the next few days. Don’t forget to check for it manually from the Settings » About device » Software updates menu if you don’t wish to wait for the update, as minor and unimportant as it is.
